Development period for the top 20 entries to create their design concepts
August 16 - Sept 7: Submission period for the design concepts
September 7: Deadline for submission.
September 16: Announcement of the top 10 design concepts advancing to Stage 3

September 17 - 28, 2024

STAGE 3

September 19: Stage 3 briefing webinar
Development period for the top 10 entries to finalize their designs
October 6: Submission deadline for the final designs
October 10: Announcement of the top 3 finalists

October 22, 2024

FINAL STAGE

Presentation by finalists at the conference

Useful Information:

– 3-months international online design challenge for students

– Learn about Autodesk solutions and key work flows

– Compete against other student teams in the competition

– Learn and compete as a team (2-4 students on each team)

RULES:

You must be a student at a polytechnic, college of technology or university.
You must enter as a team – the minimum team size is 2 people, the maximum is 4 people. You can only be part of one team.
You must be over the age of 18 years.
You will need access to a computer with an internet connection to take part.
All participants must use Autodesk software for their projects. Submissions using other software will not be accepted.

STAGE 2: Design Concept

Produce ten sketch drawings to illustrate the design concepts that you recommend for
ensuring optimal sustainability in the smart, office building. Focus on the architectural,
structural, electrical and mechanical engineering considerations.

The best 10 entries will proceed to stage 3 of the competition.
